Project name: European Sustainable Development Goals - Embracing ESG for Business Transformation
Project acronym: ESDG
The Jean Monnet Module "European Sustainable Development Goals - Embracing ESG for Business Transformation" (ESDG) aims to introduce and promote the EU's ESG-related policies, initiatives, and directives through teaching, training, and outreach activities.
Hosted by the International Postgraduate School of Engineering and Management at the University of Novi Sad, the module targets students, academics, the professional community, policymakers, and wider society to increase awareness, knowledge, and skills for successful business transformation aligned with EU values and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Project Objectives
Integration into MBA Curriculum
We aim to integrate the ESDG Module into the MBA
curriculum by incorporating EU’s ESG policies into the "Business
Strategies" course. This initiative will position the University of Novi
Sad as a leading institution in Serbia for promoting and implementing EU’s ESG
policies.
Establishment
of the ESDG Training Academy
We will establish an annual ESDG Training Academy to
promote the integration of EU’s ESG-related policies using innovative training
methods and Open Educational Resources (OER). The academy will enhance
knowledge and skills related to ESG among academia, professionals, and the
public.
Improving
Awareness and Understanding
Our third objective is to improve understanding and
awareness of the challenges related to implementing EU’s ESG policies through
targeted communication and dissemination efforts, including a dedicated website
and dissemination events.
